Scammers are preying on the misfortunes of homeowners who are struggling to stay afloat. If you’re a homeowner in need of support, get in touch with the Homeowner Help Desk.
The Homeowner Help Desk assists low-and middle-income homeowners at risk of being displaced from their communities. It serves neighborhoods across New York City.
Get off the lien sale list with free, in-person help.
The NYC Department of Finance Business Center has extended hours into the early evening (5-7 pm) to help homeowners understand available options to remove their property from the lien sale list. You will also find in-person help at events hosted by elected officials and non-profit organizations. The Center’s Homeowner Help Desk will be present to answer questions and make connections to free housing counseling and legal assistance.
